Plan on spending four grand to do the swap (2K for parts, 2K just because (or labor)). Not saying that it'll cost that much, but it is a good idea to have enough money set aside for the "Oh spit" things that always seem to pop up (AKA: better safe than sorry - and unable to drive your car). Mine cost a little more than that (mainly because I added the 88 cradle/suspension sort of late in the planning). Worst case, contact Rockcrawl, PBJ, Ed Parks, etc - they are all helpful and knowledgeable about the 4.9 swap.
Plus any $$ left over can be used for something else on the car after the engine is in and working...
