Yup, I did it. Guilty as charged. But, as Lloyde Christmas (Dumb & Dumber) said, "I like it a lot."

The victim is PFF member 88GTNeverfinished (BTW, thanks Steve!). I saw his mod of the GT taillights and just had to do it to mine (you can see his here with much better pics then what I could get to turn out: http://parlow.org/fiero/tailights.htm ).

The mod is removing the taillights and placing gutterguard and black fabric inside of the lenses.

Took me about an hour and under $10 to do.

Stoopid camera can't take a good shot, but here it is (really brightened up so you can see it a little). It looks much better in person than this pic shows:

NICE! I like that!

I see you are a Columbus Fiero guy! I live out in Galloway.

Haven't bought one yet, but I will be shortly. Is the local club pretty active? I'm a co-founder of the local Grand Prix club, although I'm getting out of the GP scene.

That's not stealing. Something that simple and cheap with results like that needs to be shared freely.

Glad you liked it. I do occasionaly come up with a good idea.

I know it's not really stealing. It was just a fun way to post it. Also, it was a small jab at others on here who go crazy when an idea of theirs is copied.

Anyway, I got Rodney's bright bulbs to put in, but somehow I only ordered 4 of them (need 5 for each side). Looks like Rodney's is going to get yet another order from me

Imitation is the greatest form of flattery. Enjoy 'em I say. My clear taillights are nothing original, but I like them.
