any one thought of doing a hardtop convertible on a fiero? i had a thought about it but i dont know how it would attach. any ideas?

why not use Miata hardware? I have been pondering this myself...

Basically you'd be doing a convertible fiero, and then figuring a way to put the top that you chopped off back on, with seals for weather? Or are you thinking of doing the hardtop to look unique?

well i was just thinking but im not sure it would work cause of rear quarter windows and how it extends back.

I came across one pic of someone who actually did just this to a notchback. He designed his own rof which was rather square shaped though and flat black. I think it would be a great idea for a notchback if done right. I you want to do it to a fast back, you might have to change the quater windows to something lick the Purple Pavement Eater PPE. That would look nice
