Blake,

Unfortunately this deadline cannot be moved back. However, please push the track day anyway, because at that time we (participants) will most likely be making a decision about the cost. If it is too high, then there will not be a track day, but I don't think that will happen. Once the track day is established, PEOPLE CAN STILL ENTER. In fact last year some people got in real late and still made it.
My point is that those you talk to that weekend may still be able to get in on the action even though we will be trying to make a decision starting on April 15.

As I recall, when the Waterford deadline was reached, we had to charge an additional $10 from each participant in order to hold the event. This year, Heartland Park will be more expensive. We must either get enough cars or charge a lot more than an additional $10. But to go ahead and commit to having it is just too risky a proposition. April 15th is Go or No-Go.
