A big K&N will do That is what I am going to run. But I dont have the stock intake so I have some freedom to do what ever I want. Look into the cold air intake from the CRX?

That's all I've got - no problems (and I've been runnning it for nearly 2 years that way)!

I have the stage II 's and I ended up just cutting a little of the water seperator to make it work. I would recomend doing something like this. Unless your engine is ported polished and or has headers I would'nt use a cold air intake. I originally had one and it makes the damn car sound like a hissing snake. It's so bad it's embarassing to drive. These cold air intakes should be on 3.4 TDC's not stock 2.8's. Yeah it does sound good when your accelerating and that's about it. It does not improve performance at all, actually makes the car a tad slower and not pickup as fast. And it sounds rediculous, my input at least.

today i worked on the car again. took out the waterseperator and had a plastic pipe laying around that fit perfect. it has a slight bend to it and the perfect diameter. i was concerned about the hissing as well (know itfrom my other car), but cant really hear it... i have a turbo 2.8 ported manifolds and no cat. guess i kinda need the cold air.

what to do with the air from the other side, i want it to have a function besides looking good???

thanks for the replies.

went to fit the right side today...

not to critisise AUS for his work BUT...

horror there is a bubble in the glass that is actually busted at the fender line. it is clearly gonna be visible!!!!!

and the part that goes up to the sail panel at the door is out of alignment with the rest..... it is bend forward towards the door opening. there is nothing behind it so i can't just put in another screw to hold it in place.... the door will hit it when closed...

what to do????

Sounds like you got a set built by the glass guy I sacked. I since rectified that problem by making new moulds based on new panels.
The air bubble is easily filled.
To rectify the other will take a little bit of work and maybe a small piece of fibreglass matt.
Email me and I will tell you how to fix that old problem with a diagram I will draw.
It can be done with a slight nick on that section of the panel also to pull into line.
