I finally talked the wife into letting me buy the exhaust from the Fiero Store (which will arrive tomorrow and be installed either tomorrow or Friday), but I am still having problems with keeping her idling. Some mornings she will fire right up and stay idling at about 1200 rpms or so, then some mornings I have to sit in the car and babysit her until I am, ready to leave. I have gotten used to "turkeyfooting" it, but am a little tired of doing so. Any ideas as to why? Thanks in advance... David

Very possibly could be the Idle air control. I think mine is slowly taking a dump, wich is one of the many reasons I am pulling it out and dumping in a 4.9L

Got my exhaust installed this afternoon and boy - oh - boy, I mean I had to roll down my window to make sure she was running. What a difference a day makes, eh!?! Decided to be cheap about it and went ahead and added some carb cleaner to the gas tank, next step is to get out the ol' 12 gauge and put the lame horse to sleep, just kidding folks... next I will take aprt the TBI and rebuild it, then to the sensors and if all else fails... I will do a complete rebuild. That will be the last resort though.
