Does it make the car look old and/or dull? I know that most yellows don't have the metallic in them. I'm wondering about reds, blues, greens, etc. Any pics?

Mine was painted a normal red by the previous owner. It looks good...too bad he must have paid $50.00 for it! I want to paint it a Saleen S7 red this spring...no matter what...it will be painted this spring...and a NEW red! lol.

Solid colors are easier to match if things get damaged or you make changes with the car in the future. Pearls and metallics are great colors too. Most important, choose a color you like!

This has nothing to do with solids/metallics, but since everyone on here seems to paint, I have a question. If when using a clear coat, you want to add some tint to the clear, is there an actual "tint" that you buy to use, or do you just put a few drops of regular paint into the clear?
Thanks
Sure wish there was a section on here just for the different paint threads. And no...I don't mean the SEARCH option.
