yesterday, after logging of the PFF, something caught my eye. there, sitting amidst (sp?) all my junk, was a toy from my early childhood. i remember it belonged to my #1 stuffed animal and best friend, jenny. lol, i just remembered i called it jenny's lamborgini! well, now that i look at it now, it sure doesn't look like a lambo! ok, so it's a crude rendition of a fiero, but common; flip-up lights, an engine back where it's supposed to be, and an unknowing kid thought it was a lambo! what else could it be?
anyone else see the resemblance? its actually a pretty cool toy for its crudity, the steering wheel works and even the doors have a little latch that you must push to open the door! ahh, a trip down memory lane, hmmm, memory lane, wonder what the speed limit is here? MIDENGINEVROOOOMMM!
heres some more photos guys, sorry for the quality! btw, incase you cant see, the manufacturer is Chicco, made in italy! no date visible though, i'd say around late 80s, early 90s, hmmmm, familiar time period...

heres the back, hmmm, weird looking, 4 tailpipes tho! im guessing it had a flip-up cover over the engine, there seems to be a hinge structureon the back there, plus it looks pretty unfinished back there...
do you remember anything about the back on yours, 8ball? also a correction, i suppose it really doesn't matter at all, but to be true to my past; i remembered i called it a ferrari (sp?) when i was little, not a lamborgini (ahh, i still get them confused--fiero wannabees)i suppose i just like the name, but we can pretend it was the "knife-edge" styling and suppirior design, right?
ps, im very new to the world of fieros (well, real ones anyhow, and my vocamulary is VERY small, what is that covering called? i guess it would be called the hood on those weirdo front-engine cars (or perhaps the trunk, being in back), i know the front bit is called the bonnet, right? ok, well thanks, its fun 2 share this toy with you all!

It has been a long time, but I DO remember it had a flip up back, but I think it was hinged behind the seats. I am not sure. I have been tossing back and forth as to weither it flips from the front or back but I think the hinges were behind the seats.
Can you get me any numbers or markings off that toy? I have a toy dealer in Tennessee who can probably find one for me if an get a model number or serial number.
Thanks Randy

The first time I showed my first Fiero to my parents they said it looked just like the drawings I made when I was a kid! ...And they were f**king right!
When I was younger, I used to try to design a car I like. It ended up being a cross between a DeLorean and a Countach. Except the gullwing doors, it was EXACTLY like a Fiero, and I never saw a Fiero until I was about 16!

LOL well my Start of Fiero Mania i guess was when My budy lived across the street from me. He has a bed spread and Curtains on his wall with cars on them. Well After i bought my first Fiero i was over there and i was looking at the Curtain. Low and Behold the Fiero was on the curtains, as well as Transam, Ferarri, Corvette, and a couple others. 6 years later they had a garage sale, and they had the Curtains for sale. 1 dollar later they are nice and folded with a Fiero on top In my closet.
