How about making a list of how many good buys people have had from a person. Kind of like ebay =). I mostly trust people based on their time here on the forum and # of posts, and sometimes rating bar.

p.s.
Elenor84 sold me a tail light and I was pleased with the transaction.

I don't give recommendations easily but I would trust the following without hesitation:

CoolCat, Rodney Dickman,John Rudl @ KitCarAccessories, J. Brian Riley, Fiero Store and Summit Racing. OOOps, don't wanna forget JCWhitney too ....

I've given away a lot more than I have sold... As have a lot of others here that I know. Does that count?

I've bought a lot of parts from members of this forum and almost all have been great to deal with. The only exception is that I received a damaged part, I contacted the seller who said he would send me another one. That was a few months ago and I haven't seen it yet, but I'm going to hold off on mentioning names and give him the benefit of the doubt.

I have sold a few things here at the forum and have always had good buyers. Electrathon, bought one of my seatcovers and he was very good to work with. I would mention more names if I could remember them. I remember him because he helped me with a wiring problem back when I was new here.

mafv8, is another good buyer.

i first want to say thanks to ditch for start this thread (and using my name).IT is about time someone let peaple know that alot of the deals that go down here go down very easy.I have gotten alot more than i sold but i never had a bad deal ` p.s kitcarguy is a good guy we had a little mix up but he was very nice to deal with and it got taken care of. ` I frogot about Rainman he is the MAN i was going to buy a part form him he go alittle behind and then sent me a box full parts(headlight motors and a lot more parts)for free he didn't even want money for shipping.

I recently bought parts for my car from 4 members on here:

fiero67
fierobrian
sardonyx247
Brian Lamberts

They all came thru with their parts and were very nice to deal with.

Just wanted to let everyone else know about my good experience with these individuals.

thanks guys!
Dave

It actually started out with a $2 ebay purchase, and I ended up buying a bunch of cruise parts and other misc. hardware from you at the same time. Wasn't negotiated through the forum.

Never had any problems with anyone on the forum, for example I just bought some really clean engine bay grates from 'RACE', good communication and superb parts jsut as promised. Now EBAY is another story, mostly good with a few exceptionally responsive, but a couple of bad transactions, about 50 total deals so far, both buying and selling. Anyone have any EBAY horror stories ?

Let's add another vote for KlingonFiero onto the GOOD GUYS list. Less than a week on start of transaction to delivery. Fair & honest.
