I don't know about surfboards but there is just enough room to cram my sticks and hockey bag in the passenger seat. Luckily, the wife doesn't want to come watch our beer league games too often.

I work in a boat store here in ohio, my surfing day's are over for the season, but we do have kit's that go on top of the car, that seem to work well on top of the fiero, and I saw someone jury rig it to fit on the water channel things above the window's, so I'd check out your local boat store for those kit's...

I'm disapointed that I'm the first to say it. Here's what you need to do. Make two six inch tall metal posts. have the top of them flat with some sort of clamping or securing system on it. Place it on the decklid in the stock location. BAM! You have a stylish Surfboard holder, AND a highly effective wing for creating downforce.
Oh, and then you could tell the ricers to eat your shorts or something... No one could ever tell you your wing wasn't functional.
Just think about the possibilities!

just an idea u could always make some sort of a rack that hooks up in the front (were sunroof front tabs go)and some kinda clip that would enter the sunroof latch and tie downs and ud be ready to go plain simple and might work i dont know but might work or u can always put a sponge on the roof and few towells onside of roof and run ur tie downs trough the roof well good luck
