I had seen pics of the white wraith body kit. but a few days ago i saw "Wraith" the movie on sci-fi - had the black rebodied fiero racing through the desert blowing everything away(sometimes literally) - i was thrilled, the woman wasn't she wanted to watch ER
Yeah, it was some kinda Chrysler concept car. I thought the same thing when I saw that movie. Of course, that concept came out after Fiero production, so the similarities make you wonder.

hmm - so the wraith fiero rebody is actually an immitation of the one in the movie? one in the movie was lookin pretty nice turbo northstar woulda done the trick ;o)
Right near the end when he gives the car to his brother billy at big kays there is a quick schene were it zooms by the rear of the car and says DODGE on the rear window.
The car is a turbo 4 cylinder concept car that was also used for a PPG pace car for Cart. It was only used in the still or slow shots in the movie. All action shots were VW chassies with glass body replicas, Chrysler was very careful how the car was used. It was quick for the 1980's but by today's standards it is a econo car.
