My car decided to roll 100,000 miles on the way to the North Texas Fiero Club meeting in Dallas yesterday. My Fiero also decided to cry over this milestone.... my waterpump is now weeping. That makes me weep also.

And other Zero's in my life is that this is my 1000th Pennocks post. So HOORAY me!

In order to celebrate these events, I have decided to figure out PIP. So without further ado, let the 'red X's' begin as I try to figure this thing out!

So now I beg a question. How on earth is it that I size the above photo from 644kb and get it to post at 93kb and 640pixels high... but I have another that is 1.4mb and when I try to size it down it is super tiny and super fuzzy? PIP novice here... where is MinnGreen or Jake Dragon... they do this in their sleep...

Well lets try a lesson in sizing part II

REMEMBER: stoplights synch'd for 35mph are also synch'd for 70mph.
(and for 140mph, now that I think about it.)

Congrats.

You cant change the size using PIP. I use PhotoShop. With this you can change the size and more importantly, the quality. I am not the person to give a walkthrough on PS however. Ask Aus or Minn they are the best to give an explanation.

Yippee!

PIP kicks Ace! But some dumb photo editing software that came with my HP sucks... It is called PhotoImpression.

Thanks Cliff, You made something idiot proof... and you have never met me (yet). Speaking of idiot proof, I guess that water pump wont heal itself.

Hey thanks for the interest. I like the wheels on your car.

The camera is an HP850. The damn thing is smarter than I am, and I am still trying to maximize its' potential. Bought it bcz of the 8x optical zoom. Very nice. Go into digital zoom and you can catch up to 56x total zoom. You just need a steady hand!
Here's a link from HP: just type in 850 in the search.
http://www.hpshopping.com

Here's some more of its potential, the first shot is the exterior of the Marriot at the 20th show. If you look in the top floor balcony, there are 2 figures... a hotel person and Steve G. (the CFOG show videographer). PFF id is 'fierogt88'. You can also see 'jstricker' in his brown hat at the bottom!

I zoomed in on that balcony and took the next pic. As far as we know that is the only pic out of thousands of shots and hours of film that Steve made it into. Poor fella.

The last shot was me trying to pic up ghost flames in a really trick paint job at the 20th. That car won best paint BTW. Love that license plate!

-edit- trying to fix hyperlink.
