Wish the install would be as quick. About half done putting these $%^&$ in. (Note to anybody thinking about doing these... install 'em the same time you change your seatcovers.
Tina BTW Seat Heaters just like these are on E-Bay now for $75 plus shipping.

Supplies needed
To get from here
to
Only to do the final test ..zip...nadda ...grrr... ice cold.
But not to fear Dear Eric came to the rescue ... the connections on the actual switch where reversed on some terminals. Easy for him to figure out. He had 8 hour of sleep and wasn't steaming about the thing not working

Nope, the Mr. Mikes seats are the ones that now have the "Hot Seat" option.
What a pain to remove the new covers though, had to be super careful not to damage the anything. (That's why that little hack saw blade and the multitude of pliers were needed as supplies)

Would you shut up already, limit yourself to one chauvinist remark per thread please!!!
Tina, I can honestly say that when I'm in sub-zero temperature, my ass is about the last thing I'm worried about getting cold! A good set of gloves and a warm stocking hat (beanie, took, whatever) are necessities because it sucks scraping ice off the windshield without them. I guess I'm more utilitarian than most, though.

<rant> I know you don't get it every time you post....that would be in every single thread. One comment would've been ok, but you feel the need to post TWO *useless* sexist remarks in one thread?
Adding winkies and smilies doesn't make your post USEFUL, I assure you. If I said, "Dammit Smooooth, I am so sick of seeing your useless posts in every single thread. You spend more time on the forum than you do working on your own projects or probably working in general! I wish you would get a life and stop making useless posts, limit yourself to at least 50% value added posts, please! j/k" does that make it ok...I mean I did use lots of smilies and winkies, right?
Giving somebody a reach around as you stab them in the back doesn't make the back stabbing ok. </rant>
To add something USEFUL to this post...Tina, did you know you can get heated mirrors from a Corvette? That would be a useful addition to the heated seats.
Gee, I leave you guys alone for one afternoon and see what happens ... :rolleyes.
Smooth ...I expected better from you.
No,no not the what it is going to warm comment. You, my dear seemed to have lost your touch. How could you have missed the Bacardi bottle and company in the pic and just let it go unmentioned.
On with the regular programming ... Seat heater are the carbon fiber kind, no copper wire heater. (Last thing I need in a Fiero is something that has aldrady proven itself to be able to start fires. Copper wire heater that is.) High and low heat, both for the back and bottom of the chair. I'll post the link and or contact address later.
Nashco ...perhaps a bit of overkill for me, or at least for this Fiero. Never does see any snow. As soon as the first snowflake hits the ground it gets barricaded under a bunch of blankets and doesn't come back out until all the salt is gone. Totally opposite of me, I happen to have one of those jobs that puts me outside all day, hats, mittens and Sorrells for the mayority of my workday.
Jncomutt .. you better get yourself a bottle heater. Probably cheaper too, or you could countersink your bottle in the trunk like I did. Bottle sits about an inch and a half above the exhaust. Always nice and cozy.

Tina, you could just save yourself the time and calories and get a Caddilac w/heated seat. Why brother with all of that work, just send me your car, I'll keep the seat warm, he, he.

Anyways, that fiero of mine is so spoiled rotten, I don't think it could play "second fiddle". Knowing my car it'll blow a gasket or something, and then you would have to apise (spelling?)it with something chrome and or expensive.

On to the real subject.. do those have different heat ranges tina? I recently rode in a caddy with heated seats *AND* a northstar and i found that different heat ranges in the heated seats made it easy to stay comfy.

Same system fieromadman, even same manufacturer, just the switch looks different. And the thing can corner, unlike a caddy or a jeep for that matter. (hint, hint Eric)
Tcat ... anybody who's idea of fun is driving a snowmobile in sub zero temps around ... naw ...I am not even going to try to start explaining the theory behind getting a seat heater...

Ok Eric, lets get started. Need to rebuild the rear end and then put them under the springs for starters. Guess I better wire in my weld for this winter.

I've got one you have to check out Tina! I'm SURE that it would work much better than that one. Has FULLY adjustable heat ranges, KUSTOM vairous configuration modification kit installed (it even vibrates). Next time you run into me check it out! Mine came with the instalation tool, I wonder why your doesn't have that?
Who made yours anyway? Mine was made by Lavish Auto Products (LAP for short), long line of product!

Hmmmm, sounds pretty darn comfy that that super seat of yours. What do you mean by installation tool though? You got my thoroughly lost there.
I've been shopping around for quite some time now, and some of the option had crossed my mind. BUT ...budget said otherwise.
Tina BTW All I remember is that the ones I got are OEM for most of the german car seats. For the actual name of the company, I would actually have to go dumpster diving ...nah don't think so...oh oh the warranty infooooooooo
