I feel the same way. I thought that the forum was a place for info about the Fiero and maybe for friends to talk. There is no need to be just mean! Maybe he really enjoys the forum but cant really afford to get the work done on his car. I really know that feeling, I have had my 3800 SC in my garage now for just about 2 years. I just think that there is really NO reason to be mean.... Everyone should just get over the whole thing and get back to our Forum lives! BTW, Have a great day! Ya just dont see that enough on the forum.

We all like Fieros, thats the basis idea why we're here. As in all other societies people are people, they wont always get along. Sometimes we have to stop for a moment and think before we get ugly on each other. We do all have something in common. That should bound us, not split us.
I'll give you a plus for saying what was always on my mind but I've never said because of the old, "if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all".

Im glad you pointed it out, He was just being childish again, and wanted a rise outta Smooth, it didnt happen, I wouldnt be surprised if this thread goes straight to page 4 now.

There are some people in PFF I dislike, I don't go around shoving it in thier face just to be the center of attention like muddy is. I think this entire thread should be deleted. Its a waste of cliffs precious space, its a waste of time. And its anoying...if only I could give more then one ratting to a person!

I think your long history of dragging people through the mud on a public forum needs to stop. It's childish and rude. No one cares what your newest complaint is. If YOU REALLY cared, I think you'd be pressing the PM button instead of posting a new topic.

Firsy off... The "FINAL PIC'S" thread was just a joke ... OR should I say was MENT as a joke!! It was a joke people!!! No, I did'nt think it would even go to page 2. When I saw that it was going to keep going, and going, and going... I decided at THE SUGGESTION of a forum member for me to post a picture a day. I said fine. So I started this when I was PREVOKED... I SIMPLY WALKED AWAY! Then was talked about in BOTH of the thread's about my Fiero being ugly, being a post whore, leaving to hear.. "Oh, Come back!!", ETC.!! That's fine. Really it did'nt bother me much at all. I was kinda suprised at WHO responded about me in a few way's. But, like it has been said, um Freedom of speech! EVERYONE has different taste in car's. I HATE the Mustang.. NOT because it's a Ford, NOT because of anything except it's just not me yet Ford has sold thousand's. I REALLY don't care who like's MY Fiero or who does'nt for the fact is simply IT IS MINE and I started it because I wanted to design it like I LIKE IT, NOT anyone else. he took the time and waited on me to pay him for my turbo that i still haven't put on lol but he worked with me in a time that worked best for me.....i have found 3-4 people on the forum that have given me a "grace" period to pay them and i have no screwed anyone of them over....
i like it when a person you don't necessarily know give you the trust that every person wants to have...
wish more people out there were as helpful and nice as steve and brian lechty.

Personally i admire the work that smooth has done to his car but i am getting tired of "look at smooth", "smooth is so cool", "Hey didn't smooth do that first?" People here got to get over the high school, homo attitudes and pull up the big girl panties. Feelings get hurt way to fast here. I mean, jeeez, come on!! I am not sure what the demographics here are but by the way some of these posts go on and on, I would say childish at best. If you post pics to an open forum, expect to get feedback both negitive and positive. Thats life, move on! To many folks jump on the band wagon and follow like lemmings. Smooth posts like Bob dole on viagra. Big deal, his choice. Go on to the next day. There is more to life than Pennock's and Fiero's!!
From another 2 yr wonder: I posted this in the other thread, but I'm going to repeat it here. There are not 2 of us here who do things the same way. Our lives are each different, situations not always perfect for doing things. Sure, it would be nice to live in a perfect world, with all the $$ you needed for your Fiero, and a nice comfy place to work, but that's not reality. Sometimes, life deals you a poor hand & you just have to play it out.
Tho I do think Steve likes to draw a little too much attention to himself, it must be remembered that he lives in EAST Texas, in the middle of The Big Thicket-a virtual southern pine rain forest. It rains all the dam* time there. Usually every week for days in succession. Not storms, just steady downpours. Humidity you wouldn't believe, even at night. Yards turn to mud. Tools rust in hours, not weeks. Electrical tools & extension cords are a danger to use. Mosquitos hover in droves. He does this work outside, not by choice, but by financial neccessity. From posts he has made in OT, I gather he is about the only financial support for an extended family. Some have made the suggestion that he get a life outside of the smoothmoile. He's doing all he can do, and has doggedly stuck with it. How many of us could do the same, under those conditions? I would have given up long ago but he did not. I know how it is-I grew up in that country and my father still has a farm south of where smooth lives. I have to (gladly) take care of that farm now. Except for a midsummer respite of 100 degree temps, it's a muddy miserable quagmire. To be honest, I can't figure out how he even gets bondo and fiberglas to cure.

I won't make RRRR-I have posted in the Ruckus thread. My father is doing well enough but is no longer able to care for the livestck and fences. I'm going to move back there as soon as I can manage it.
