There is a used car lot close by that has an 88 burgandy coupe. 4cyl 4 speed grey interior. Question is-arn't all Indys white? It has the Indy nose badge and no other markings and the car doesn't apear to have been painted. It looks pretty good for an original car. No pw-pl-pm has I think 88K on it.

All Indys are white over grey. An Indy would also have a white wheels and red highlights in the interior. Also, Indys were only in 84 and an 88 coupe would have a 5 speed.

Be very careful with this car, sounds like someone has been playing around with it.

Look for the Y82 option on the label on the drivers side front fender well. Depending on his asking price, the sum of it parts (if not a true Indy) will be worth the price.
