Archie's site gets hacked on a regular basis. Probably whiners on this forum who can't find any other way to beat him. I say that because if it's not someone from here, then who would care to hack his page?
Good thing Cliff logs IPs. Of course, a GOOD hacker can cover their tracks. Wonder if this was done by a good hacker?
What a f'in pain in the ass... There's gotta be a way to figure out who futzed with his site...
Why on Earth would a "hacker" do this to a site like Archies?
That sucks.
Hope he gets his sit buck up and running quickly.
Hmph. seems like they like to deface webpages. Nice pointless hobby. Why don't they just go and make some Blueboxes, eh? Or maybe work on something PRODUCTIVE, perhaps? http://domin.dom.edu/faculty/kmarek/FirstMonday/srijith/

TheBugz hacker group is an Islamic hacker group mostly known for its anti-Indian hacking. Its first noted defacement supported the Kashmir Muslim cause. TheBugz has been active since at least August 2001. The group started identifying mostly with some of the pro-Pakistani, anti-Indian hacking groups, such as Silver Lords, Anti-India Crew, Pakistan Hackerz Club (ID# 106497, Dec. 10, 2001; ID# 111136, Aug. 28, 2002; ID# 108407, April 1, 2002). However, it had a falling-out with Anti-India Crew (AIC) in late 2001 (ID# 106782, Jan. 4, 2002) As of Nov. 6, 2002, TheBugz has been credited with 200 defacements, according to the Zone-H defacement archive. These include 92 mass defacements and 108 single IP defacements. Members include, in part, Kronix-x, HaShoo and WaSif.
TheBugz is mentioned in greetings of various current pro-Islamic hacking groups and could become more active in the event of a US attack on Iraq or deeper tensions in the Middle East
