OK, so I was telling this guy at work, an engineer, about my Fiero. He says, "Yeah, there is a whole field of them and some MR2s in Mississippi somewhere." Now, this is the second time I have heard that. The other time was on this forum somewhere.
Urban Fiero legend or fact?

they might be talking about the fiero factory as it is pretty well known, and has more than a few fieros. just a thought. (but i hope it is not and we have discovered an untapped resource.
[Someone get a satellite on this.]

oh yeah and satellite over Miss is gonna be very tough due to the fact that nothing else is there so you will have a hard time finding imagery. (sorry for nerding on you guys)
hmmm my coworkers son said he worked either their or somewhere they did lambo kits. hell i never believed him, he said his fieros were still in georgia. i believe him now that hes brought home two nice fieros. i wonder if anyone on here would know him. hm

The story I had heard that some guy out west somewhere, possibly Colorado had bought up a bunch of fieros, only V6's. In the hopes some day the value would be high and he would make a profit. In my mind I invisioned a huge wharehouse of new fieros tucked away somewhere with zero miles. But, it was probably just a story from the guy that had bought one new with a V8 and got it up to 230 miles an hour.

There is a guy here in Norfolk, VA who travels around the area selling hot tubs, when he spots a fiero he buys them, and puts them on the back of the flat bed, empty of the hot tubs of course. Anyway, at last count he had around 45 of them. No idea why, he just keeps buying them.

I know, the great weather, clean air, low cost of living, and Southern Hospitality gets old after a while. Oh well, guess I'll have to make due.

LOL! Fiero's are a bit addictive...it's like caffine and nicotine. There's a few that have grown in the yard over the past few months. I now have more cars than I have time or money for. (I guess I dropped a few car parts and they grew into complete cars )
I wouldn't call this a field of Fieros, but about 3-4 years ago, a salvage yard in Rancho Cordova, CA just outside Sacramento, CA on the west side of former Matherfield AFB. I went to this yard and was told that the owner was collecting them. I went back just before I had moned back to Michigan and all the cars were gone and the place seemed abandoned. If anyone on the forum lives in the area, they may also know about this.
