I had my Fiero out quyite a bit the last couple of days and noticed I sit leaning to the right to get away from the seatbelt cutting into my neck. Does anyone have any good tips/devices to help get the seatbelt away so I can sit up straight and enjoy the drive?
Hey Dan , Oreif still has some Fiero seatbelt pads left . Look in the Mall section . Picked up a pair about a month ago , they look great and keep the damn edge of the seatbelt from digging into my neck .

The seat belt pads are a good idea, but you do realize the Fiero shoulder belts are the old type that can be stopped from recoiling back. Just give the belt a short little tug and the belt will not retract until you pull it further out. they out lawed that type around 1990 because the belt isn't tight to the shoulder in a crash
blaaaah who needs seatbelts..i dont even have the the bolt holding them in anymore.....oh wait..maybe cause im replacing my sail panels........hummmmm :-)
ya it definately sucks i think everyone has that problem my mom said something to me bout it when i drove to california like a 7hr drive....i plan on picking some of them seatbelt pads up next payday...probably the best bet

Actually, I have a pair that I got from him last month and they do look great, but I always slide it down to the waist when driving because I just can't stand to have something (soft or scratchy) against my neck when I'm driving. It's more of a personal problem I guess. I do like the cars today that let you slide the pivot point up and down which cures the problem.
I was just wondering if anyone has put those covers kids can use to hold the belt(s) at the latch point together which moves the chest strap to the left on the drivers side and farther away from the neck.
Thanks for the idea!!!

Just a reminder for those people out there that refuse to wear seat belts. As of May 19 it is now a nationwide law that you must wear a seat belt. They even have a slogan "click it or ticket". Buckle up.

Actually as of last Friday all pads have been sold. I don't have any more. I've done 2 "group purchases" but I haven't thought of doing a 3rd one yet. Not sure how many more people are interested in them.

"Seat belt and helmet laws suck."
Having said all that, I never leave the driveway without my seatbelt fastened. Nor do any of my passengers. And I never ride a scoot without a helmet.
I have Oreif's seat belt pads too, but I find that they end up further down on my chest. The seat belt doesn't really bother me.
Why not go to a junk yard and pull off two of those belt holders that two door cars seem to always come with? Sounds like a easy fix if you think about it. My regal has belt holders screwed to the top of the seat and it never rides on my neck. They keep the belt on youre shoulder where it is suppost to be in a crash. If I have inspired ya great
