The Pyranha, (also known as the Laura) was a Russian kit that was sold a number of years ago. It is no longer in production. Every few months someone claims that they know somebody who has a friend who heard about a guy who read somewhere that the Pyranha is going back into production. As you can see I am skeptical.

Joecool3210,

This kit is still not available. It held a ton of potential and I found the design ~ sexy. But that is just me. Let us know if you find any information regarding the status of it.

Except for the silly wing I think the Pyranha was the most interesting original design for the Fiero rebody. The Finale comes close but the Fino front end looks too awkward around the wheel arches (the Hyundai Santa Fe look). Too bad it isn't available.

BTW I am not a big fan of the replicars, I think an original design makes a better rebody. (Just my opinion of course, body style is such a personal decision)

One more question, about the Finales and the Finos, do they actually look like the photos on archies site? Sorry I've never done a rebody to a car and I want to know how it looks.

I've seen Archie's Blue Fino and it looks exactly like the pictures on his site. If you want an original design the Finos and Finales are among the best, in my opinion.

They will work on any Fiero as long as it's straight. All Fieros had the same unitized construction - the differences were in the plastic bodies mounted thereto and for the 88s, only in suspension and brakes.

Cheers,
Andrew

Hey Joecool... Are you per chance in one of the fraternities at state? My girlfriend goes there, and mentioned seeing a red Fiero at one of the houses.

No, I don't go to any of the frats here. There aren't to many Fieros that I have seen around this area. But it could have been mine.
