Here are the pics of the Indy Fiero model I built. I custom made the decals. Until I find another Coupe model, it will continue to have the V6. I like the way it turned out, though.

Did you build that off of the '85 Fiero GT model kit? I have that model kit and was thinking of doing the same thing.

Glad you all like it It was a lot of work (not to mention alot of cash...)

Yes it's built out of the Revell 85 GT kit. It's 1:24 scale, but I'm pretty sure all the MPC kits are 1:25 (the 84 Coupe I built was a little smaller) The 4 cylinder engine does fit, though.

I made the decals by finding the pictures on the internet, cleaning them up, resizing them, and printing them out on paper to test the different sizes to see which fit best, and printed them on decal paper.

Luckily the forum had some great reference material ESPECIALLY Steve Kelly's pics (they're ALL OVER the place!)

Cost of the model:
Kit itself: $25.00 + $7.00 shipping
decal paper: $4.00
2 hobby knives (one for decals other for cutting actual parts): $2.00
Sandpaper: $2.00
Glue: $1.00
new airbrush tip: $7.00
Model Master Primer: $3.00
3 jars Model Master Gloss White: $4.50
Model Master flat black: $1.50
Model Master light gray: $1.50
Model Master Euro I gray: $1.50
Model Master turn signal amber: $1.50
Model Master Sliver: $1.50
Model Master Clear Red: $1.50
Model Master Gloss Black: $1.50
Model Master gloss red: $1.50
Model Master aluminum: $1.50
Model Master Steel: $1.50
Model Master Flat White: $1.50
Tamiya flat red: $1.89
Tamiya mettalic grey: $1.89

Total: about $75
Total time: about 3 weeks (over the course of about a year)

Awesome job!

I've got one of those kits myself that I'm planning on making a model of Peg. I bought it off e-bay around 2 months ago, and had big plans, now I'm moving so the little project will have to wait.

Again, Great job!
