I'm just looking to blow a little money right now. So I'm looking for ideas on small but cool mods. Pics and info would be appreciated. I don't think this is a B.S. topic, do you?

Also a PFF decal for your rear window from JoeTorma

new exhaust tips, a nice buffing, a new headliner, carbon fiber trim, reverse glow gauges and die the carpet black... (hmm that sounds familiar )
I didn't know buffing was a mod these days.. I am not a fan of carbon fiber. Gauges are a definate. Have to do that. I dont know about dying anything yet. Need the other stuff to match it yet. Like some mr. mikes leather seats.

I'm not a big fan of decals on the rear window. But it would look great in the under the decklid. I'm thinking about getting one of those automatic snakehead shifters? Thanks everyone for the feedback!

HAHAHHAHAH ROFLMAO!!! 'Out of the terrible forest" ahhahahahahahha
How about pillar mounted guages? Or you could do what I did and repaint the entire interior with some SEM paint for about $100. Short shifter sounds good. Freshen the rear shift cable bushings with a Rodney D. kit. Scoop for the side?
Just off the top of my head......

How about Rodney's "Full Time Electric Window Conversion Kit" for $8? Yea, yea ... we all know what it really is and you could make the "Kit" yourself (so do it then), but damn, it sure has been my favorite small mod since I put it in.
I've got Oreif's door tabs too, a nice touch. I cut down my automatic shifter not to hit those park/reverse shifts any faster but because that tall shifter looked dorky. It's easier to put CD's in my player now too, and I am using a beretta shift knob instead of the T handle. The inch or so drop looks nice to me. I had a collection of trim pieces that really didn't match and I painted them all with plastic primer (after I sanded the 'fleckstone' paint off - echh) then 'bumper chrome' paint (it looks more like aluminum) followed quickly by clearcoat. A couple days later I used rubbing compound then buffing compound to polish the parts by hand. If I do it again I may use that new anodized look paint. I even did the ash tray doors and overhead light to match. You never see overlays for the overhead.
I put new gauge faces on mine. Since I didn't get indiglo they were simple vinyl overlays and I covered the interior of the gauge housing with white reflective tape and I'm using red bulbs to light it at night. Replaced my courtesy lights with red bulbs too.
How about new sail panels from Paul Mckibben or Pontiac decals for the headlight cover and rear bumper from purplefiero?
Polyurethane dogbone bushings, or poly endlinks and bushings for your sway bar?
A nice license plate frame?
New valve covers for your tires?

I second the vote for Full Time Power Windows mod. Find it's a big improvement, only costs a touch of solder + your time, plus you get a spare circuit breaker to boot. Tough to beat that kind of payoff!
...of course, doesn't do you any good unless you have power windows.
Second on my list would be: Manual radiator cooling fan switch. Simple, useful and cheap - especially if you have spare switch lying around! Happened to have a nice-looking rocker switch from a discarded electric space heater. Details can be found in Ogre's Cave, if I recall.
how much will a "small mod" cost. is a small mod headers or is a small mod different colored light bulbs in the overhead light and under the dash and under the hood?

To me..a small mad is anywhere from oreif's door tabs, the full time windows to..dash trim and some electronics. Small mods is alot of things. I guess when it comes down to it its things that are 10 bucks to 100.
