has anyone had problems with GMparts direct and/or ups lately im getting so frustrated with both of them! i ordered some dew wipes from them on june3rd from the internet!! so far ups has destroyed my package 3 times and now it was supposedly gonna get to my door today found out its not destroyed this time..the label with that address was unreadable....soooo guess what!! its going back to gmparts direct!! ugh!!!!! it takes over a week to get here from there to.. week there and a week back its like damn!!!

one side of me says that not gmpartsdirects problem..its ups..but if gmpartsdirect would package it correctly wouldnt have to worry bout it....

I ordered replacement GT quarter windows, and one arrived with a cracked off corner. GMpartsdirect won't do anything about it, they said you have to file a claim with UPS. I don't see how UPS would assume responsibility, the windows are in the original packaging, so I ate it.

When it comes to ordering from them, all I can say is "good luck, hope it doesn't break."

It's a GPD problem. I ordered some strips for my Regal and they were very poorly packaged. I returned them and told them to check the quality before they ship them and package them right. They did and they were fine on arrival.

Except for some expensive parts, I won't use them anymore. Their SH is way out of line. It makes the price look great at first but once I pay the SH, the cost at the local dealer is about the same (ok, maybe a tad lower). The Turbo Regal hood mat is $100 (great price). The SH is $165. Not me Jack.

Yes, I know that some dealers are very expensive. Find a dealer in a run down building (lower overhead) and talk to the parts manager about getting a discount. Most will set up an account so you can pay the sales tax but get 20-30% off. Keep shopping until one will do it then buy all of your GM parts there. I rarely even look at GPD anymore.

Yep, their packaging stinks. My stuff was not damaged much, but it was very poorly packed. Make friends with someone at the local dealer and use their discount, you'll be better off.

I have had no problems from GMparts direct when I ordered my transmission pan... but maybe that was an odd circumstance or something... on the other hand UPS has had some serious problems delivering an amp to me. I just got it last week when it was shipped about a week and a half before the 20th. I'm not happy about that.
