First off. I want to say thanks to KRMFiero and to FieroV6Dude for telling me how to remove the old panel and put the new one on.
Been working on it off and on for the last week or two, finally got it put on the car. Still not mounted right, need a couple more rivets 'cuz I broke a few, and then I'll be all set, but its close enough that I was ready to share First pic still isn't great, but its better than it was. Anyway. whatdya think?
*Edit: Decent pics....WOOHOO....and a new sig pic, too * ------------------ Nick www.naskie18.com AIM: Naskie182010

Looks pretty good! Are you going to make scoops for both sides?
Thats the idea, but it'll be a little while before I get to the other side, I've already got a couple more projects in progress and classes are starting to get demanding (I should be studying for tomorrow's differential equations test right now)....so I don't know how long until I get to the other side. I probably won't be able to even start the other side for at least a month
Thanks for the opinions so far!

So, have you got plans to make it functional? Also, how the heck do you plan on making the right side vents? I'm not good enough free-handing a mirror image...I'd probably have to make some templates. You've got more patience than me to try the right side!
Looks good, try and get some better pics in the sun. Are the intake grates painted or just faded? Looks painted, draws more attention, I think its cool.

P.S. Your car needs lowered.

I know it needs to be lowered, but I'm afraid that front air dam wouldn't last a day in flnt if I dropped it
The intake grates are painted the same silver as my ground effects, I thought that'd be a nice little touch on there.
The other side will be a royal pain, but I probably won't get to it until 8th week at earliest, too much other crap going on with classes. If this crazy fog ever lifts I'll get ya some good pics of it.

I really enjoy your work. I am sure I can speak for all the other Fiero owners by saying we all appreciate your work. I would be anxious to purchase your product myself if both side were fuctional. Also, just a thought mind you, but how about making the side scoops into BIG intake (both sides) instead of having it divided into two sections? I am not sure if this can be done easily or would it be a major pain in the a$$. If you could offer a choice between the two, that would be ideal. Hope you pass your test, keep us posted. Great work!

It looks like the paint on the air dam has seen better days anyway!
Different strokes for different folks, I suppose. Your option is no fendergap or less nosegap...for me it's a no brainer. Make it easy on yourself and just move somewhere else.
I still say it needs lowered, huge holes be dammed! (get it...dammed..ha...ha)

Bad jokes and all, you're right, it does need to get lowered....if I didn't have this danged driveway here in flint I'd do it, too...maybe I can pull off a 1" drop without losing the fog lights (I knida need to keep those now that my headlights stopped working...I should take a look at that...)

First I got two extra stock intake panels, then cut the stock air intake out of one and cut a hole in the other under the stock intake. I then fiberglassed the cut out scoop into the hole in the panel, and used some bondo death putty to smooth it out. Did some sanding and then threw some primer on it Did a little more snading and then painted the panel black and the grills the same silver as my ground effects.
The panel I did this on, as you can see in the above pic, came off a car that didn't have ground effects, so I had to drill a few holes for mounting the ground effects.
Nice, relatively easy and inexpensive side scoop
