So, who's going to Pontiac Nationals August 8th through 10th at Norwalk racway, Norwalk Ohio? Last year there was a pretty good showing with about 35 Fieros and over 500 other Pontiacs. Fieros took the top 3 places in the Street Modified class. Clevland Fiero club puts on a show within the show giving awards, goodie grab bags and other prizes to Fiero owners regisered for the show. Fieros were represented by the venerable V-8 Archie and his Stinger, Dale Starcher and several other Pennock's members. I'll be there Sunday More info and preregister at www.pontiacnationals.com This event really needs your support and a good showing will be a great boost for the Fiero community

I'll be there !!! .... remember all ... I'm just down the road from Norwalk and the 4th Annual Fiero Cookout/Campout is the 9th of August !!!
I won't be able to make the cookout this year since I won't get back from NY until late Saturday. Maybe next year. I will see you at Norwalk on Sunday though.

Remember there is a show in a show at Norwalk. The Cleveland Fieros has a small show and a area for all the Fiero's to park together. This is now the largest Pontiac show so it is a must see. The main show has 2 Fiero classes and if your modified they have many more to place you in.
I have been there the last 2 years and it is really a lot of fun. The Cleveland Fiero Club does a great job of their show within the show. I plan on attending again this year.
I'll be there, but dont really have a "show" Fiero. Could I still be cool and park with the others?
You can enter as "not judged" and park with the cars in the show. I'm not sure what that costs. All Fieros are "show" cars anyway. If you register for the Pontiac Nationals show then you're automatically entered in the Cleveland Fieros FIERO FEVER show. 2001 I entered my son's 180,000 mile 85 SC and received a "high mileage" award from FIERO FEVER. It was a lot of fun and there's a ton of things to do and hundreds of Pontiacs to look at. It's worth going and entering your car if only to support the event. Check it out at www.pontiacnationals.com to preregister or for more information.

Even though I live in Colorado I will have to go there one of these years I hope to have my 86 up and running with the Modified 2.5 I am planning.... hell that would be a good run to make to get the 3000 miles on the engine to seat it properly after I put it in. I hope it will be as early as next year but you never know. I am hoping that there will be a 20 anneversory show for the Fiero in 5 years I will be there too just as long as I can find a Driver for my one of my cars. by then though I may have another Fiero since it seems that I am buying one every 3 or so years

Please make sure to come Saturday or Sunday we had a good turn out both days last year. Many Pontiac VIP's are there and if we have a good turn out of Fiero's combind with last weekend they will know we are still here and not going away. Both Pontiac Magazines are always there and we always seam to end up in a picture as a group.

Another bump for the gang up in Cleveland ... they really do make this a very nice show within a show ... Y'all should come on out ! I personally like to look at more than Fieros once in a while. This show gives everyone a great look at vintage Pontiacs of all flavors !!!
Correct on the corral it is for non judged cars. I thought it might be cheaper but the price is the same for judged or non judged> weekend pass is $35, Sunday is $25. My flyer was here so these are there posted prices. Either way just asked to part with the Fieros and we will all be in the same area. Don't let them park you out some place away. They can judge you even if your in a mod class but still parked with the Fieros.

C'mon people, this is a National show with drag racing, swap meet, and hundreds of beautiful Pontiacs. I'm playing hookie to go on Sunday and I wanna see some Fieros there.
Looks like I might be making a run down for this one, my Cousin from LA just gave me another reason to go, as he's having his Pontiac Dragster Rail trucked in for the event.

Heck the Ice Cream alone is worth the drive!
It's worth the trip. This is a great event if you like Pontiacs and drag racing. Looking forward to seeing you there.

We were there last year (I didn't bring the Fiero), Cousin ran his '65 Alcohol Injection GTO (engine pictured above), ran consistant 8.89 @ 149-150mph: The guy wheel standing (red light, major f-up) really slammed it hard on the track and lost a door half way down the track. It was a great weekend, and a great track to visit.
Only 8 seconds....my Fiero can go faster. j/k- I was actually down there today with my buddy and his uncles Neon SRT-4 for the test and tune day. One of the nicest tracks around. BTW, he is running 13's in his Neon.

Weather's looking same as all week but I think cooler with a little less chance of rain. I know of at least 25 Fieros that will be there on Sunday. Looks like it should be a good day.
