I entered my car in its first car show, where there is judging. I was in the 80's class with 4 other cars, a Ford truck with a mod'd 460, a S10 with a 350 (I think he was in the 80's class), and a Buick Grand National. The Ford got 2nd (he was the vice presedent of the club that ran the car show), and the GN got 1st.

I dont know how most car shows are, but in this one, all the people that entered a car got a sheet that they put their favorite car from each class in, and the person with the most votes wins.

I will have pics later.

Oh, and I drove through a heavy rainstorm on the way home, complete with some hail, lightning, and lots of rain.

Thanks,
Ben E-Farrer

I am making something to go here soon.

Here are some pics:

Here is a sweet hot rod:

Here is the back:

This car had a 350 Chev engine with a Weland 6-71 blower on the top. (Insert drool smiley here)

Here is a mint condition, showroom condition Ford Mach I Mustang, even had factory stickers and block markings:

Here was a nice '68 Challenger Convertible, with a 318:

Here is me:

This is going to be my new signature also.

Ok, why do my signatures become 4 times bigger on the internet, that pic was tiny on my computer. grrr!

Now, hopefully these links work

....

That kind of voting is called "Popular Vote". It's kind of frowned upon because all you have to do to win is bring a bunch of family or club members and, usually, they'll vote for you. The results always seem biased.

Ok, well the vice presedent of the car club that put on the show had a vehicle in the 80's class, he got 2nd though, with I think it was a 1982 Ford F-150.
