This is NOT an advertisement, I get nothing for posting this, and if I'm out of line posting this here, let me know. For several years I've been going to a parts guy at the local Chevy dealer and he has what he calls the Fiero discount. He sells wholesale to Fiero owners (and others). Saves me a ton of money. For example, the exhaust manifolds for my DOHC 3.4 conversion engine retail for $256.00 each. With the Fiero discount, they're $181.00 each. Anyway, he ships anywhere in the continental US (used to be free but UPS has raised rates too much -still worth the discount). His name is Chris Koch at Criswell Chevrolet in Gaithersburg, MD. ( www.criswellauto.com ) Phone# is (301)212-4513. Just say you want the Fiero discount.
Again, sorry if posting this here is frowned upon, but it really is a money saver for folks like me without a lot of cash and I thought I'd send it along.

Sounds like you get the "mechanics discount". Some parts stores will hook you up with their jobber or even resale price if you do enough business with them.

As far as the "rules", I don't know. I like to have all the good parts sources I can find, personally. Thanks.

Hi Rick, and welcome to the forum! Actually, it's well known here on the forum about Criswell Chevrolet...they've been giving Fiero owners a good discount for several years. There are also a couple of others that do the same, along with gmpartsdirect.com, which is actually a dealer. Most of them have great prices, but their shipping charges are a bit high. Luckily for you, you live in the area. I've lucked out with my own local dealer in that they give me jobber cost on all my parts, so I may pay a little more than from Chriswell or others, but I save on the shipping.

OK, that's good to know! It was me that originally told the Fiero world about Chris back when he was at Columbia Pontiac about 8 years ago!! I was on a Fiero BBS at the time. I'm glad to know that he's helping folks here at Pennock's. I've been away from Fieros for a couple of years so I didn't know...but "I'M BACK BABY!!!".
