I have seen a lot of show Fieros with an indoor/outdoor carpet lining the spare tire well. Most of the time it is black in color. Can anyone tell me where to buy this carpet. Also, how much is needed. I plan to add this to the 86SE I am restoring. TIA.

I've never bought automotive carpet before. So if I were looking to buy some what kind of place would I start looking at locally? I want to be able to see and feel it before buying.

I want to do my front compartment and redo the doors and replace the floor carpet with something more plush like my floormats.

Thanks,

Earl R.

Still looking for a supplier name (hopefully a national chain). It must be somewhat easy to find. I have seen it in several cars.

I work at Lowes and they have a large selection of indoor/outdoor carpet (blacks, blues, grays etc). I pick up a nice piece that is almost a match to the trunk carpet. It's not hard to form around thing as it has a soft rubber back. Just cut it carefully and carpet glue it down good. You should be able to line the area without too much trouble.

I bought some carpeting from the Pep Boys store. I am planning on carpeting the front compartment someday, I also made a cover for the trunk using the stuff.
