I recently purchased an 88 Fiero 4cyl, and I do not recall ever seeing a yellow Fiero. Just curious as to wether this color is that rare in general or just in this area? Also, my windshield wipers won't shut off. Any help in either of these areas would be greatly appreciated.

i had that happen with my windshield wipers b4, i found out that i got the circuit board on the wiper motor wet while washing it and it shorted the thing out, then wouldn't ever shut off.

I believe there are less than 300 yellow gt's, they would definately be worth a premium. I have only seen one in person. Also silver 88 gt is rare, only 257 made. Yellow was the color that replaced silver mid-year.

That has been debated before. It has been questioned that when silver was stopped that either the yellow was started or the medium red was started. I have found yellow cars with lower VIN #'s than med. reds. Does anyone know for sure??

I have 2 88's. A metalic red coupe & a yellow t-top coupe.
There he goes again!
The yellow '88 T-Top is supposedly mine, but you know how these things go. After 26 years, he still hasn't learned that's whats his is mine, and what's mine is mine (tee hee).

This is what happens when your wife gets her own computer. By the way, did she mention who spent the last three days under "Her" yellow coupe changing engine seals & refinishing the cradle & rear suspension?

Did he neglect to mention who was right beside him and also spent a good deal of the last three days cleaning and scraping the oil, gunk and grease off of the subframe, etc. in between copping parts off of our acquisition of six Fiero parts cars for use in both (MY) Yellow T-Top and his Li'l Dukie?
