As much as i'd like to have a subwoofer (or two) I'm sorta leaning towards just getting a pretty good 4 channel amp and getting some new 4x10's and some 6x9's and running them off the amp. My question is how would the bass from a single(or pair) of 150W RMS subs compare to that produced by a set of 200W RMS 6x9's running at ~200W? In short, would 8in subs be worth the trouble of finding a way to install them?

my advice would be to get a good deck, and power a good set of 4x6's in the rear off the deck and maybe a good set of 5-1/4's in the dash or 4x 10's maybe off a small amp and then do 1 10" sub. either in the pass side foot well or in the center counsel, personally i dont like subs behind the seats

I wouldnt burden the 6x9's with bass duties.. they'll bottom out and fart quite easily..

8" subs are TINY nowdays, you can find one that'l need like 3" mounting depth and .3cu'ft. it'l fit behind your seat and loose like 2" of legroom.. or you could stick it under the dash wehre the performance audio goes.. or in the passenger footwell near the gas tank..

I'd get 2 8" subs, put one behind each seat.. thats just me tho

1 JL 10W0 behind each seat, get a shop to custom glass it in - it will sound amazing!

run the W0's off of a 250 or 200W amp.

forget the 6x9's, in a fiero, they are unnecissary (yeah, i cant spell i know)

4x6's in the front, then either 4x6's modified to fit the front or 4x10's if you want stuff in the factory locations
