I have some paint chips and one flaw in my paint that drives me crazy. Has anybody tried this stuff? Does it work as well as it says? or am I setting myself up for disaster?

Well, you're not going to hurt anything by using it, but it's not much of an improvement over any other wax.
I have a bottle of it that I keep around to wax the nose of my car. It does reduce the visibility of chips and scratches somewhat, but overall it's not a great wax.
I use meguiars carnuba wax on the rest of my car.

I used it on my slightly fade front nose also, it helped but I had to put it on every two weeks or so to keep it looking good. It does fill in the white scratches on the hood and stuff also, but you can still see them if you try.

i use it all the time. I think it works great! The "chip stik" is junk though, its nothing but a crayon. The polish makes the color look deeps and richer, I did half the hood before and i could tell the difference

It's not bad, but don't expect miricles. I use it a lot on my Dad's black Fiero (I maintain it more than he does) just because it has a fairly old finish and the colored wax won't leave a white residue in the scratches and chips in the front facia and so on (regular wax sometimes makes these defects in the paint MORE apparent). Takes a keen eye to make sure you wipe it all off though since the black Color Cure dries black (obviously) and it's a b!tch to see to wipe off if the lighting isn't good.
Hey Toogy , I tried the Turtle Wax Color on my red drivers side front fender . Was not impressed at all . You have to re-use it about once a week . If you decide to get it , don't use the POS crayon that comes with the bottle .

Just get a can of touch up paint for your car. Keep some in a fingernail polish bottle (has its own tiny brush) and touch chips up whenever you clean. If you do it right, its almost undetectable.
About that "lipstick" that comes with it - I have had great results with it - on a few small rock nicks on the nose, and my car has one area of slight fading and spiderwebbing near the front of the sunroof area, and after using the stick, it made it a LOT less noticable. You have to get pretty close to see it. I was pretty surprised. After doing that, I used wax to seal it in..It seems to last about two months.
I wish I could just buy that stick instead of having to buy it with the polish...
