A huge two day show was held in Punta Gorda FL on Saturday & Sunday.

This year we had five Fieros, one was a rebodied F40.

I've been going to this show since 1998, when mine was the only Fiero entered.

It's an open show to all makes. The class that Fiero's are placed, have them competing with late model sport cars.

The judges have have selected Fiero's in this class for six years running !!

I'll post a few shots of the Fieros, then a path for the other cars that were entered.

A fellow covering the show for the newspaper was very interested in my car. He took verious shots of it.

When I got home, I received a mail message from him saying they may run my car in the paper. Hope so !! That would be neat.

Oh yeah, mine won 1st place in it's class !!

For the rest of the non Fiero cars, follow this path.

YEP !! It made the paper !!!

I just open the morning paper & there it was !

The title reads, OLDIES BUT GOODIES

The caption under the photo read,

The CoolBlue87GT Fiero fits nicely with the rest of the best at the annual Vintage Classic Car Show Sunday afternoon in Punta Gorda. The owner, David J. Lambert III, proudly displays his trophies from years of competing.

Thanks.

Undecided about Carlisle. I like that show very much. It's also near where I used to live.

Thanks. Yes, lots of history. The best part from all those shows are the friends I've made.

That's priceless !

One other thing I'll add is, I met two different people at this show that told me they worked building the Fiero's !

Both had some great stories. One said they used to build some with mismatched panels, Ex: Red car with blue fenders, and use them as cars to drive around the factory grounds.

He said non of those ever left the grounds and were destroyed after awhile when the project ended.

One said he might know where there is a big supply of Fiero parts & would contact me the the info. I told him about our forum, and that there were many owners that would love to hear more about these parts !!

He also said he had many showroom flyers of all the pontiac's built since the 70's on up.

I gave him my email address & told him I was very interested in hearing from him.

Shall post any information I hear from him.
