can't seem to justify the added cost of going to 17's and 18's....if i do 16x7's up front it'll keep the unsprung weight down, and i can reuse the new tires i put on my beretta GTU rims. then i just need to get some wide ass 17's for the rears it'll only cost about $700 for the 4 rims and 2 new tires vs. ~$900-1000 for 17's/18's and 4 new tires....any one have any input on this...

here's the wheels

Enkei RSF-2

thanks!

I've got 17x7 fronts and 17x8 rears. If I could do it all again I'd get 18x8 or 18x9 rears. It would have been another couple hundred probably, but in the long term it would have been worth it.

If you are trying to budget stuff, you may also want to figure in a bigger set of brakes. Our dinky brakes look retarded inside a set of 17s. I'm working on that, though...

Im running 17's up front and 18's inback. Wouldnt change it for the world. Looks simply stunning up close, mean as sharkshit actually. Youll want to go at least 7.5" though, maybe bigger. Id have prefered and 8.5" rim to allow wider tires, but 245's look pretty good In the future though, I want 265's!!!!

go with the 17/18 combo. You'll be kicking yourself if you go with 16/17. I'm running 17/18 with 215/45 front and 245/40 rear. I'm glad I spent the extra cash for it.

17x7 17x8 sounds nice, and those rims would look great.

Your sig lists a "3.1 TDC". The Twin Dual Cam engine was a 3.4L iron block with aluminum heads...are you simply taking the heads off that and putting them on a 3.1? And why?

Thanks!

actually its a 3.4 block with northstar pistons, a 2.8 aluminum head crank and 6" SBC rods ~3097 cc's....i have alot more homework to do on the top end with the quench area, compression ratio....its a mess right now, i have to get some stuff CC'ed to do some more calculation but its slowly coming along....feel free to PM or email me if u have any other questions...
