I want to put black cloth on my speaker grills. Fiero Sound had a link up a little while ago of a place to order the cloth online. Well I was wondering if some other type of cloth that i could buy at an arts and crafts store would work well and not muffle the sound. (sorry I seem to be having trouble wording this.)

Matt, Rodney Dickman also sells speaker grille cloth. The problem with using regular cloth is that it isn't UV resistant, so it will fade quickly. Rodney's cloth is UV resistant. Just thought I'd throw that in for your information.

The black speaker grill cloth at Radio Shack has UV protection. That is what I used and it's held up for 7 years so far. Still looks like new.

I checked Radio Shack - they no longer have it.
See here http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5F name=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F002%5F006%5F005%5F004&product%5Fid=970%2D1251

I found it best to get it from www.cardomain.com Only $10 for enough to recover your seats (well, 1 anyway)

If you can not find any I can send you enough to cover yours. Are you needing enough for just the front 2 or do you want to do the 2 on the side panels also. Just let me know. The type I have is Black and from Radio Shack.

I have two sets of grilles...on one I cut a piece of headliner material and glued it on...on the other, I used scraps of figerglass window screen to cover the bare grilles...both look pretty good.
