Me and stimpy went out to my mechanics today and gave my coupe a test drive. He's had it a little over 2 years, working on it as a side project and I'm not in a hurry for it. 2000 3800SC in a 88 coupe/5 speed.
The motor is awesome it just takes off like theres no tomorrow. I think I'll have to start looking for a V6 speedo cause the 4CYL one on it is woefully inadequate for the job.
The SC sounds SWEEET when it starts making its whine around 3.5K. The motor never sounded like it was straining even going up a hill in 5th around 45.
Pretty much all thats left is to get the a/c lines.
