Not as nice as the current dashes but I got the complete setup for free from my auto teacher.Anything is better then stock right? and besides this is a 1 day dash swap and the old fiero interior can be put right back in if needed

heres a shot of what im talking about.

You can get these dirt cheap at any yard.

I had an 89 Grand Am SE Quad4 with that dash in it. I don't think there is anything wrong with it. The only problem I see is that if I find a dash like that in a yard around here it is either all busted up from people trying to dig speakers out of it or it is dry rotted. Plastic dashes get really brittle fast in junkyards... The one from your shop teacher should be a good one! Go for it!

"one day swap" ...I take it that you have done this one before. Any pics of it in the Fiero?

It looks like it will be a good swap. I agree that anything is better than stock dash, and I will be very impressed if you can get it installed in a day. I am 6 months into my dash swap and I am not complete. Please keep us posted on your progress...good luck

Yeah, I can't see doing this in a day. The heater/radio section is too long to fit into a Fiero so something will have to be done there. If it was just the dash alone, maybe.. but there are some things still that would have to be worked out. Mounts have to be modified. Take a week or two at least.

I think you will find that it's not wide enough by about 3". Measure before you start.

I kinda miss my 89 GA SE... It was a good car. Can't wait to see the dash when you get it installed. Please post couple of pics. Thanks!
