Rgeeinc (Bob) beat me to the punch in Banner's thread. We had exchanged emails this past weekend about trying to get a San Francisco Bay Area group together within the next couple of months.

Like Bob said, would anyone be interested in meeting in Vacaville or Fairfield on February 23 (Sunday) or March 1 (Saturday) or March 2 (Sunday).

Another option for a nice scenic drive with a little bit of "twistees" would be a trip down Highway 1 from San Francisco down to Half Moon Bay or maybe even Santa Cruz.

Anyone game?

If I can get one of my Fieros running, I'm up for it. I'm sure at least one or two people from my club will join up.

I had been thinking about winter activities. In Fairfield, a tour of the Jelly Belly or Budweiser factories might be fun. Maybe even Travis Air Base museum, if security ramped up.

Just bumping this to the top.

How's about setting the date for Saturday, March 1?

I'll be laying out a couple of alternate routes around the bay area for anyone interested to consider hopefully by this weekend.

One option will be from San Mateo to Santa Cruz and the other somewhere around the delta area from Vacaville to Brentwood(?). Unless anyone's got objections, both should have share of freeway and backroads twistees to exercise the arms. I'm thinking that whichever route, we'll find a place to have lunch before calling it quits.

Let me know if you're interested and pm me with your email so that I can send you maps/itinerary when they're developed.

Your local Sacramento, CA, area club invites you to our general meeting on March 1, in Carmichael. Why not come to the meeting, join in for Pizza, and then take off?

Please join us, and pass on your enthusiasm to others in the club. Join the club, and get the advantage of mailing, a website, and other publicity.

More info to come in a few days.

In the other thread you were talking to fierobear about having the meeting in Fairfield and then taking a tour of the Jelly Belly factory or having your club meeting at the Jelly Belly factory and taking a tour afterward. Is that out now.
Maybe the Sac. guys could come to Fairfield and the S.F. guys could attend also I am sure there are enough Pizza places in Fairfield to hold a meeting, if your not interested in the Jelly Belly factory.
Just trying to get more guys to come.

If you check out the Jelly Belly web site, it says they have a cafe on site, with sandwiches, burgers and pizza. I haven't been there, but I would presume there is enough room to sit and have a meeting.

p.s. - Ed, my club's meeting is next Tuesday. Let's set something up before then, so can rally the troops to go for a ride on March 1.

We'll have our Sacramento area meeting as previously, in Carmichael. All interested in Fieros are invited.

We will be having a general meeting on Saturday, March 1, 2003, at the Round Table Pizza, 4949 Marconi at Walnut, Carmichael. 11:30 A.M.

We'll have an opportunity to all get together at Sears Point.

All Fiero owners are invited to participate in a "Car Corral" at Infineon Raceway (Sears Point) on June 1. Please sign up by March 26.

Please direct any questions to Richard Wood at 916-727-9131.

FieroFan1@earthlink.net

It will cost you $15 per person, Fieros only allowed in the corral.

Please contact Richard for details.

I again invite any local Fiero owners to go to our website at
