I went to 'image resizer' at microsoft.com and downloaded it. works great. ez to use.

I noticed that images that used to be fine to post at 119k or so are now said to be too big to post. Though PIP (if you use it) now states that images have to be 100k or less, actually need to be even smaller than that

Steve, I'm guessing you have broadband internet access. I have cable access, and a 100k pic is no big deal. But if you're on a 56k modem...and even worse, if you can't get but a 26.4 connection (been there, done that), 100k is outrageously big. Then, if you've got more than one pic in the thread, that just multiplies the problem. Takes all day for the pics to show. I try to keep all of my pics under 30k, if possible...and never upload anything bigger than 50k. For example, I just uploaded this pic of my car in another thread:

Lots of detail, very clear...and about 37k.

You don't need to have a large filesize to have a clear pic. And it helps those poor guys that are still on dialup access.
