$30 WELL SPENT! The shifter feels as good if not better then new. Rodney Dickman sure knows how to make a product. It wasn't hard to install, and the instructions were very good. Quality is top notch. Everyone who hasn't done this, should.

One thing though, DONT forget where the tiny spring on the shifter goes. I did, but the car shifts fine without it!

It only shows the getrag and isuzu on his site. Is he going to make one for the 4spd?

My problem is I lack expierance with manual transmission cars and keep mistaking third for first which makes for fun times at traffic lights.

Actually, the shifter was sloppy. That's the only way I can describe it. It felt sloppy. So we used the kit and now it is tight, smooth and precise. Shawn Salyers, my friend who helped, has owned 6 Fieros and commented that after we did the kit, it was the best feeling Fiero shifter he ever shifted.

I agree, Rodney's bushings really help take care of the shifter slop. It doesn't go away completely, but it's a definite improvement. With Rodney's sport shifter, shifter-side bushings, trans-side bushings, and a new select cable, things are feeling greatly improved from when I got it(car's got 175k miles now).

I've got many Rodney parts, and every single part has met my expectations without a hitch. Not only does he care about the quality of his parts and the Fieros getting them, but he's just a heck of a nice guy in general.

I added just about everything that Rodney had to offer for the Getrag to my car. When I was done, my neighbor, who hates standard shift with all his heart, said if all cars with a standard trans shifted like mine he would probably buy one. Now that says alot about Rodneys products.
I have meet people at shows who would say his products are over priced, but once they see first hand the quality of his products, and the difference that they do make to my car compared to thiers, they all walk away saying that they will be placing an order with him when they get the chance.
