I have run across a complete GT40 kit that has been sitting in its original crating for the past 15 or 16 years. It appears to be 100% complete. Any idea what this might be worth? The guy that has it is willing to talk, but I have no idea what to offer him.

I do believe that the AASP Fiero based GT40 kit is selling for between $4000 and $5000 complete depending on what kind of a deal you can make with the owner.

Wait for Archie to finish his GT40 kit. All of the Fiero GT40 kits I've seen look horrible, looks way too stubby. Archie's looks more like a GT40, because all the specifications actually match.

I am very interested in seeing Archies kit ... BUT ... I really like the AASP version too. It's not an exact replica but close enough for me !!!

bwayne .... if you get a price that you don't like ... let me know !!!!!!!!!! I would be very interested in this kit if it is, indeed, a AASP kit.

Hello everyone. Chances are good that what you have is an old Fiberfab kit. Do a search on the internet, they made several different ones that were GT40 like (Valkyrie, Avenger).

I'm almost sure that is what Archie is using for "his" replica.

Its only worth as much as you're willing to pay. I've seen completed cars (needing major work) from basically nothing to $6000 or so. Now some of the newer and more accurate GT40 replicas are a lot more expensive but they're not as old as what you've discovered.

Archie took the molds himself from an actual GT40 they are not from an existing kit.
