And yours works fine? I used the exact same wires and my module blew up in 10 seconds. No indiglo for Dave. Guess it's going back.
Did you use EL Module:
Red wire to pin #7 or #12 Gray (the gray wire only has power when the lights are on). Black wire to pin #4 Black. If the wires are backwards it might blowup if Speedhut did not install a diode in the wire.
---------------------- Did you check the 6 color step Inverter (Powers our EL-Glo Panels)
From green to blue in 6 increments. The blue and green push buttons control the Color hue from green to blue. The white and black buttons control the brightness of the EL-Glo panels. ------------------------

I wired the red wire to the brown wire on the switch and the black wire to black on the dimmer. It worked for 10 seconds, while making a high-frequency sound, then went dead.

They are going to "squweel" a little. Sorry guys.. I just haven't had a chance to get mine in and probably wont for a few days.
The Fiero Gauges will be up on the website in a week or so. Here's the prices now.
$139 basic gauges and color choices $20 for large graphics (flames, checkers, stipes or big pegasus) $10 for smaller logo $5 for each additional logo $15 for the 6 color inverter.
BTW there is a better 2 color inverter comeine out that's more powerful and brighter. Will come standard in month or so.
Best of luck to you on your installs. I'm painting my needles red.... AND I PULLED ALL THE NEEDLES. AHHHHHHH!!!!!!

how do you paint the needles a different color? I think I wan to do mine in a more intense red-orange than stock. Is there a special paint that needs to be used or just any kind of model paint?

Im wondering the same thing about painting th needles. I would like to paint the needles a bright red color or a black. Let us know what to use to paint them and look good and hold up. Thanks.
I got mine to work tonight. I think the module must have a breaker in it that resets after a while, because I did the exact same thing tonight that I did on Saturday and this time they worked. Can't decide whether I like them yet.

Those gauges are really nice. Do they make 85mph speedo gauges. I would love to have something like that in my coupe? And does it matter if your current gauges are backlit or sidelit?

Yes they will be available in a short time. The preorder is finished, they only need to put up the official regular order form now, which also means that you will now pay more for extras like graphics and text.
And they do not produce the 85 mph version yet, as nobody has preordered them yet. Funny, we got 40 preorders for the 120mph, but none for the 85mph. Odd.
And here's the first pics of my gauges! And yes, I know my camera sucks. #1 #2 #3 #4 #5

The interactive part is on the main page to the right. Just click "Dial face glows" or "Text glows". It's an interactive flash program.

Fiero_Freak, I like the odometer reading 999,999 miles hehe. Are you going to leave it like that and let it roll over to 0? Make sure to check everything for the odometer so it works again, I changed mine back to actual mileage on the engine and all that and now the dumb thing doesn't work anymore and I have to take it all apart again. See ya.
