Well, the question then becomes, did they copy Rodney's design, or come up with a similar product on their own? Take short shifters for example. Both The Fiero Store and Rodney Dickman sell them, but they are different designs - no one copied the other.
If they are selling similar parts - no problem. If they are copying Rodney's designs, then that's not something I'd want to buy.
I like the fiero store's model, since the font matches the factory logo. Both work. But lets face it. Its not that original of a product. My Fiero had one from the dealership. Said "HINE"

They look pretty different to me. The lettering is different and finish is different.
What's the problem?
Thank God for the Fiero Store. Where would we all go to get our stuff without them? reasonable prices, fast delivery, I've used 'em for years. Keep up the good work people.

The Fiero Store was extremely generous in donating prizes for the Red River Ruckus. And these were some very (cool) items. They will be used as awards for the Fiero trivia game. Thank you, Fiero Store!

Why would they? GM was the one who axed the Fiero... They don't even talk about them in any of their past magazine ads like the one in Motor Trend's 50th anniverary. GM had a whole bunch of cars lined up (including a Vega, Monza and a Citation) and didn't even mention a Fiero. Don't you think that the Fiero was a better car to put in place of the three cars mentioned above? GM is ashamed by the Fiero... not that it was a bad car, but that they made a mistake dicontinuing the Fiero and they dont want anyone to realize that. My theory is that the bad rap the Fiero get isn't from the owners themselves, but the execs. who wanted to justify the killing of one of the most unique cars in all the world. My 2 cents worth.
It is always nice to have another avenue for purchasing Fiero products. But, reasonable prices when charging double for items that are still available from the dealer...Quality products, when one is told "Oh those cheap Chinese steel rotors need to be turned before installing."
Like Mama always said, "shop around." I think they provide a valuable service, but are not the be-all-end-all that some folks think.

I think fiero store is great, I think Rodney is great, but the fiero store one looks better and seriously folks, it's not like people haven't made brake light masks before!

I actually did something similar to this on my first Fiero. I spelled out my personalised license plate by grinding down some of the red plastic and painting it black. I got the idea from a friend who had GTA in his third brake light. He didn't know how the previous owner had done it and actually wasn't thrilled when I did mine. I wouldn't be surprised if Rodney isn't a little perturbed at the Fiero Store.
Look at it this way. The Fiero store is a big company and Rodney isn't. What Rodney does dosn't really affect the Fiero Store. However, it isn't true the other way around. That's one of the main reasons I support Rodney. I just try and ballance out the negatives of being a small business owner. I am sure Rodney appreciates it just as much as I appreciate all of his wonderfull products.

The Fiero Store has a bad rap among some members. I do not know the ins and outs of their situation with Rodney, and am not going to get into that. However, both should be supported and embraced by the Fiero community as they are probably the two most active in securing a supply of new parts for Fieros. Losing either would be a great loss to Fiero owners now, and especially in the future as parts supply continues to dwindle.
As for using the Fiero name and logo... it is possible they have paid GM for usage rights. They sell enough stuff and market a lot, so Pontiac must have heard of them by now.

Competition my friend, competition.. what would it be like with 1 burger joint? expensive prices cause they know they could get away with it yeah they are very similar.. but its a persons choice who they buy from.
I bought from Rodney cause he made them before the F.S.

Here's a point i wish more people would pay attention to! The Fiero store donates to all the big Fiero shows. They gave us a lot, and always have BTW, for Fierorama. They were in fact one of our major sponsors. They also give for the dells run and i'm pretty sure they give for Carlise. That 10% discount we all get puts there prices right close to the competition and the competition (like Summit) doesn't donate a thing to the Fiero world.

Didn't Summit donate/partially sponsor the Michigan Fiero Show this past July? They had "Summit" banners in a few places and summit "goodie bags"...Just figured I'd toss in my 2 cents.

Yeah, I have to say I think the Fiero Store is one of the Fiero greatest resources. They have damn near everything. yes, they are a little more expensive. but they have a GREAT online store that NOONE can beat - or even come close. Freindly on the phone, and fast thru the mail. If I have a choice on simalar products, I will always goto the Fiero Store - that is a place we cannot afford to lose!
