My 14 year old nephew just loves my Fiero. He call's it the Beast. I left him drive it a couple months ago in a parking lot of a business that was closed that day. He was in his glory. I was visting his mother (my sister) over the weekend and he and his 15 year old sister were there. My sister started telling me that everytime they go away, my nephew see's cars that he think's are Fiero's and points them out. My sister said one time it was a Dodge Dayton and one time it was an older Honda or Toyota with the hide away headlights and he think's they are Fiero's. Well she said one day he started that, so they would pick out car's that obviously weren't Fiero's like Mustang's and Cadillac's and say I think that's a Fiero, there's another one. She said they were laughing and he got mad. Poor guy even got mad at her when she was telling me. I told him that sometimes I see Dodge Dayton's and think they are Fiero's. Anyone here ever mistake a different car for a Fiero?

Sure I made that mistake. How about we send pics of our Fieros to you and you can print them out for his bedrooom wall. It could improve his Fiero spotting skills. MinngreenGT also has Fiero posters for sale.

Hehe... Ski- thanks for the plug! (see link in my signature).

BTW Skitime... I like the addition to your signature about the rating

About his Fiero fever- tell him to start saving now, and he can have a Fiero for his first car! I bought an 84SE when I was 15 and had it on the road shortly after I turned 16.

I mistook an 85 firebird for one once... I could only see the passenger's side front fender and the stock rims (like mine came with).

It sounded like one too. Had the famous pontiac Prrrrr coming from the exhaust

I once mistook a Dodge Daytona and a 300zx for a Fiero. They do have simalar charecteristics. Also I like that rating suggestion in your signature. I don't think people should have to put stuff like that on there though. I think that everyone should automatically do it if someone evokes any emotion in them good or bad. I have been rating every person that replies in a thread that I started. I think others should do the same.

I first got fiero fever when I saw my uncle's new blue coupe. I only got to see my uncle once a year, and I always told him every year to let me now when he was tired of it, and I would buy it. He called in 1999, and I drove a 16 hour round trip to pick it up. It was my first fiero. Fiero fever is chronic; I am sure your nephew will get 'his' fiero eventually.

I always liked notchback coupes and didn't really consider fastbacks as fieros, so I never confused other cars for fieros. However, my brother liked fastbacks and would confuse a dodge daytona with a fastback. BTW, I now like fastbacks too!
