Even though they are just little toys, there is an odd striking resemblence to the Fiero,
Plastic body transverse mid mounted (ok maybe rear) motor totally interchangable parts loads of aftermarket inexpensive The motors range in power Vs control
Its just a little plastic toy, right?

hey that yellow hotwheels looks similar to mine, excpt mine has a blown longitudinally mounted 396 V-8, flames and fat rear rubber tires, also a clear stand that makes it look like its pulling a wheelie
BTW i didnt see them here first, about 3 hours ago i was over my brothers house and one of his friends had one

These look really similar to the Bit Char-G (pronounced Charge) cars that have been hot for a while now:
I've got a couple, there's incredibly fast, but they take some learning to control - you have to be really delicate on the steering or you'll spin out easy.
The car only runs about 4 minutes on a charge, but you just snap it onto the controller for 45 seconds to recharge.
Don an eBay search on "char-g" and there's hundreds of cars, kits and accessories.
The ones at WallyWorld are a bit different. I don't know if they are compatable. I have one now from W-mart and will be looking at the radio shack at lunch tomorrow.

They are too small for me... and there isnt too easy a way to get a Fiero body on it! However the 1/24th scale RC cars are easy to pop on the 1/24th scale plastic model cars! Not to mention the ABC DTM is an AWD and its fast as hell.

I have the W-mart version and the Radio shack here in front of me. No camera though. Here is the breakout. The W-mart are shorter and will not take all the mods of the R-shack car. The ones from R-shack are better proportioned but slower stock and seem to handle better. I had fun last night with the W-mart version doing doughnuts on the kitchen floor. The R-shack has better controls IMHO.
