I am thinking of maybe adding a Turbo (T3/T4 Hybrid) to my 3.4L to wake it up and was wondering what type of Turbo to go with if I end up doing it. Dennis, what turbo are you running, intercooler??, what injectors, and a HiFlow Fuel pump I assume. Also where would mounting an intercooler go on my car and do I need one. Also what kind of boost can I run with 91 octone on the street with a T3/T4 Hybrid?? I am thinking maybe 8-10psi. Well let me know guys. Thanks.
http://members.shaw.ca/turbofiero/fiero_turbo_kits.htm Check out this guys website. I've spoken to him at length. This is the direction I'm headed. I've got a 3.4 in my 87' With a standard 3.4 his turbo is putting out 330 crank hp safely for 2 grand w/chip. I buy BTM and fuel reg. parts. Although with that kind of gain he suggests using his water injection. And stresses injection over intercooling in a fiero. I'm not the one to answer questions but John @ KFGroup will. Hope this helps

You should have no trouble with the t3-t4 it will hold power well for what you seem to be looking for... You can also look for a Mitsubishi 18G or 20G.

Rare87: I run a modified T4/T3 type turbo with a compressor A/R of .83 and a turbine A/R of .48 I started with a stock Garrett AiResearch turbo off of a mid 80's Thunderbird then rebuilt it with a $85 rebuild kit. This turbo worked terrific on my 2.8L but I felt it was not strong enough to put on my 3.4L. It was then sent out to Limit Engineering in Lake Havesu City, AZ for modification. John Craig a noted turbo authority on Garrett machined the housing and installed a larger compressor wheel which came from the turbo on a Buick Grand National 3.8L turbo. I am very pleased with the performance of my turbo 3.4L. The acceleration will literally snap your neck.
I would enjoy seeing your answers to all Amir's questions. - - - - - Dennis, what turbo are you running, intercooler??, what injectors, and a HiFlow Fuel pump I assume. Oh yeah, picture would be nice.
