I'm trying to find out the weight difference between some engines and the 2.8 L V6...like the new 2.4L Quad 4 and the 3400 V6.

Does anyone know ??

you mean the 2.3l quad 4, or the 2.4l twin cam?

I think they're around 80 pounds lighter.. never did find out exactly how much of a weight difference there was.

The 2.8 is 368lbs ready to install with all belts, etc and the flywheel.

The 2.3L is 318lbs rready to install, so I would have to say the difference is 50 lbs or so.
