LiLDV1L and NOS3800 will be staying at PennAmish Motel. Sounds like a dive?? Anyona know what its like? Can't be worse then the one we stayed at during the Gettysburg show 5-6 years ago. The door to the room next to us when we checked in was open and dark. The next morning an ambulance was carting a dead body out as we were leaving for the show! We will be staying Friday and Saturday nite.

ROTFLMAO!!!!
I wouldn't call it a dive . . . exactly . . .
Actually, it's not TOO bad, Lynn and I didn't see any dead bodies when we checked it out.
And no pool, either.
Have fun!
And you ARE coming to the cruise-in, aren't you?

Yeah, I remember that place! Fortunately we didn't stay there! Weren't there also a lot of flies? I also seem to remeber that there was always a Fiero or two around there - the owner had some interest in them.

Wow... Almost sounds as bad as that "Penn View" motel, lol.

The lunch count is going to the caterer this afternoon (8/13). If you'll be at the show and want lunch, contact us before noon today!!! Email us at bob@fieropride.com or dlambert@epix.net so we can add you for lunch.

This is an absolutely true story. It was the motel down the road from the Distlefinks diner. And yes Bob, the guy was interested in Fieros, his son had one. We will need for for lunch, I hope that was apparent when I bought four lunch tickets? That is me and Earl bought four lunch tickets. Must say I slept better at the "Murder Inn" then at Rodeway INN last summer for the Carlisle show. It was surrounded by truck stops and a liquor store next to it. The trucks kept down shifting making horrendous noise all night. Around 2am some drunks knocked on the door. Just to let us know,"We think your cars are coooool". Pennsylvania, the last untamed frontier(sigh)

I tried to respond by text message but it wouldn't let me, nor would it let me call Ron's cell, so give me a call on my phone and leave me a number where I can reach you!

Well, as of yesterday the mechanic hadn't even looked at my car. He thinks it the throw-out bearing. I have called him both days it has been there, first day it was still sitting, second day I got his machine and left a message. It doesn't look to good on the GT making it to the show. Big dissapointment. I was looking forward to having fun with it. I will still attend, just not in the Fiero. As opposed to the white fastback lic. "86GT86" I will be rolling up in a red Integra coupe. :-P What a car with no personality. Anyway, sorry, but I can't make the mechanic work any faster or I would. If I DO get it back in time, it will be a surprise!!! But I still look forward to meeting everybody.

EDIT: You will still let me sit in your car, right skitime? I haven't forgotten!!! :-D

The show is a few days away and now I can say for sure that my car will not be in the show. I am slowly getting the parts (flea is getting them) but there is no way I will have them on the car and painted by show time....so it looks like I will be at the show but my fiero will be on the out side looking in again! The interior is perfect it's just that aweful paint and damage (does anyone make a car bra...you know one that would fit over the entire car)
I will be coming with my brother, his wife and her niece (at like 10:00am) I won't be there all day (a couple hours) and then i'll return in the evening for the cruise...looking forward to chating and showing my brother some of the awesome fieros that will be there.
Well see ya there! Later on!

I'll let Denny check this but I think what probably happened is you didn't respond on Pennocks so it may have gotten overlooked since your Pennocks name isn't attached to the registration. But Denny please reply just to make sure I am correct...
Yeah, you're pre-registered. We just didn't make the connection for the list here. We have several folks who are not PFF members, and aren't listed here. Sorry about that.
I'll ask Denny to add you.

The girlfriend & I will be there sometime around 11AM on Saturday morning. We'll be staying at the Black Horse Lodge, and have no idea how to get to Zinn's from there. Will there be any other Fiero owners staying there on Saturday night?
Keep this one going.....
