I need a new center console ( not the glovebox thing ). The front one that surrounds the radio/AC controls/vents and connects just under the shifter plate area...

Did that make sense? Anyway, mine's kinda worn in the Indy and I'd like to replace it with a new/like new one ( one that doesn't bulge outwards like mine. lol ).

Anyone know where I can get one?

they are getting VERY hard to find in good condition. most people just use some kind of glue or apoxy to fix it. i did that to my 85 GT and it doesnt look bad. it still has 1 spot where there is a small buldge, but not much. i could have done better if i wasnt in such a hurry

The one in my last Fiero was in real bad shape. I went as far as taking the whole cover off the frame them refitting it to get it right. Looked just like new then. I wouldn't mind an as new one now actually to look at reproducing them. It seems they are getting hard to find in great condition though.

wow, I used mine to prop up a set of doors that I was storing, it looked brand new, or at least it would have with a couple of squirts of armor-all and a cloth....

I think I ended up throwing it out. oops.

I post this everytime the topic comes up....

Please oh please....there are so many of you making interior kits, and body kits, and scoops, and...and........

If someone would make stock interior parts...I think you would be very pleased with the amount of orders you would get.

PPpppppllllleeeaasseeeee!!!

Guess I'm not the only one with a bulging console problem... Epoxy it shut? Any other solutions?

Those are easy to take off and moderately easy to fix with some twine, epoxy, and a flathead screwdriver to scrape out the old foam and patience. Good luck and dod a search on interior repair..

I see good ones for sale occasionally in the "Mall Section" of this forum and on eBay. If you look around, you can probably find something. If it's not too bad, you might be able to repair it yourself like was suggested.

I have one in dark grey. It isn't for the cars with the extra gauge pod. It is in fairly good condition and never used(it was NOS from the fiero store). If you are interested make me an offer. Here's a pic, sorry if it's dark.
