I changed my mind on my rims and i'm going to something lighter and that would be alot better for dragging ... I'm hoping to run 17x10.5 rears, and 17x 7,7.5,8 fronts (still not sure on the front width) with nittos on my fiero when I do the engine swap. I think the 315-35r17 Nitto 555 Drag Radials will fit the rear, but I'm not completely sure ... has anyone put larger rubber than artherd has on the rear of their fiero?

Anyways ... when my parents get their house finished I'll be able to work in a 3 car garage so then I'll be able to show you all my progress and pics.

Muwahahh! Sounds swweeeet )

The limiting factor on 88s, once you go coilover spring, is actually that lower suspension link. You'll need to fab something up to move it in about an inch or so (I need to to fit my 18x10s on the silver car.)

Held Motorsports makes totally ajustable rod-end equiped 88 suspension links, HIGHLY recomended! For the relocation, just get a longer bolt, and add a section of correctly sized (ID and OD, probally have to turn this on a lathe) tubing as a 'spacer' for that link. (this is all on the spindle side.)

If you do a bit of that, and get 3-piece wheels with exactly the offset you need (you'll need like ~75-80mm I think.) You should do just fine )

Best!
Ben.

Sounds sweet ... I'll probably get some Kinesis or HRE rims on mine, depends if I can get a sponcer, more likely kinesis. As for your car it's gonna be an all around machine. I wish I could have gone with a manual tranny on my car, but still for it's purpose, and to stay in my price range, I gotta go auto. Mine will basically be to cruise and drag car. I can't wait to see your silver car put the smack down on the track. I guarentee if we hit some import spots when we finish the cars we'll make some magazines, afterall we're still a "sport compact car."

Sounds fun, guys. Gotta question, Ben. Did you do any suspension mods to your Maroon Formula for the PZeros? I know you had to machine to get the wheels in the right bolt pattern, but other than that, any suspension changes? Wondering if I can fit the 265/35-18's on a Formula with no other changes, assuming the correct size wheels.
