Well i'm wondering if nos or anything like it is illegal to have on a car. I have seen lots of cars with it yet I'm wondering what would really happen if a cop pulls me over and sees i have it in the car. All stories and knowledge on this would be much appreciated....

lol! Furiously Stupid corrupts the mind. NOS did a good job at marketing with that movie though. Everyone that wants nitrous will just keep thinking NOS and buy their products and Holley will keep raking in the dough.
Well , I would say if Performance improvements fills it , it's probably legal.
For road use? who knows.... who cares..The legal aspect didn't really concern me this weekend when I beat a new 4.6GT like a rented mule on the spray...
Liquid Equalizer..It's the good Sh1T

local crusader sgt. kenny has been busting people's chops for nitrous systems in our area for some time now... he's a bit of a celebrety in the racing scene
In British Columbia the rules are pretty grey, but what I do know for sure is that you CAN HAVE IT IN YOUR CAR, but if you must have the bottle turned off maybe even unhooked. I know alot of the local import street racers have ZEX Nitrous kits in there cars. (ever seen a near stock looking early 80's Civic, ya know the old crap looking Civic's wax a new Mustang)
There are quite a few "HoT Cars" 8-11 second cars runnign around with Twin bottles and 4-600hp shots. They come to the races and the cops see the bottles clearly mounted and full, but they are always off and unhooked and the cops do not right tickets about it. They do give them a hard time about it, but no fines or impounded cars.

The cops in Toronto make you believe it's illegal so they can nail racers that have no clue on it's legality. A guy that's been working with nitrous for a very long time(Concepts in Motion in Brampton), told me it's legal to carry (EDIT: He didn't say use. Just so I don't pass false info from him.) nitrous as long as it doesn't exceed two bottles. After that you need a license to carry hazardous materials. He had a paper on it, but couldn't find it at the time.
He was telling us about the cops driving honda's and pulling people over and asking them what they got under the hood and then radioing ahead and getting a cruiser to nail them. I bet none of the little import drivers know their rights when it comes to the stuff under their hood. They probably don't know that you don't have to open your hood unless they have a search warrant for the vehicle.
That's my view on it. If I'm wrong on any of it, please correct me, but make sure you carry some good backing.
