i put a whole new engine and transmission in my fiero 3 weeks ago. it feels unreal!! bottom end balanced, forged flat tops 40 over, holley systemax 2 kit (lunati cam and roller rockers, holley alum heads, holley intake, ect.) holley rates this kit at 425hp as a direct bolt on. i changed my nitrous jets to 175's. the engine feels like it on the juice all the time. i cant hit the spray untill well into 2nd gear, but i have some drag radials on order now. the trans is killer!!!! i found a tranny shop that used to sponser a 11 sec. turbo, nitrous, "v-6", caviler z24. it was race only, but they had tons of left over 125 trans parts including a posi unit and a stall converter. the posi feels a little wierd, you have to take corners real wide. but its worth it!!! i also had a new custom exhaust built using a dual in / dual out flowmaster, it sounds real sweet. i tried using a friend g tech, but i was having trouble with the lighter connection and soon hope to have it fixed.
check out the pics on my yahoo at :

more pics to come soon

Wow, that is nice. My only question is why not put the battery up front? I guess you aren't worried about carrying an overnight bag back there, but it would balance out the car a bit more.

Wish you good luck with the trans and half shafts, hopefully they had the right beef up parts.

Would be interested to hear what your 0 to 60mph time is when you have time run it. My best so far is 4.2 sec with a second gear start (5spd).

Tony, Sounds like you've built a monster. I hope you get the durabilty that you'lle need from that much HP. *** Whats the name of your Tranny Shop. and do they work on 440t4's as well as 125c's. Would be nice to find a proven performance rebuilder for our high horse automatics.

Wal-Mart sticker, that's the only bad part of the car! Beautiful machine though.

Niiice )

Didn't you have the opposite SBC in there before? (RV cam, low-end torque only, no breathing?)

Sounds like this new baby really suits the car better, GRIN! )

PS: 600hp on the juice, you're crazy! The perfect kind of crazy! )

PPS: dirt on face?

Best!
